The Last Wild Places-The Frank

The Frank Church Wilderness forms the heart of the largest contiguous wilderness in the lower 48 states. At over 2 million acres, this vast wild country is largely the same as it was over a century ago. In the first installment of our film series, The Last Wild Places, the Argali crew spent nearly two weeks hunting late season mule deer bucks isolated in this vast wilderness on an adventure that is hard to find anywhere else. In this film we explore why this place is important and unique, and why having wild places is so important to hunting now and for the future. Follow Brad Brooks and Charlie Cronk as they float the Middle Fork of the Salmon River on an epic hunt that involves rutting mule deer bucks, big rapids, and a bit of danger.
